“As a DJ and event organiser, I am extremely excited to be hosting my first international event showcasing music from the Caribbean and spreading the celebratory, joyous, and infectious nature of Carnival culture of Trinidad and Tobago; here in Sydney.

There has been a huge international growth of Caribbean style Carnivals in countries aside from the Caribbean. England has the ‘Notting hill Carnival’, Canada  has the ‘Caribana,’ NYC celebrates a carnival on Labour Day, and other countries joining in are Germany, Japan, and now Australia with the first Caribbean Riddim Weekend!” says DJ FASMWA
